Section 2. The Church Council shall present two
nominations for each office to be filled. Additional nominations may be made from the
floor.
ARTICLE II
Church Council
Section 1. Should a deacon desire to resign, his resignation shall be
received by the Church Council and his place shall be declared vacant.
Section 2. Should a person, absent from the congregational meeting, be
elected deacon and decline to serve, his place shall be filled by the Church Council until
the next meeting of the congregation.
ARTICLE III
Officers
Section 1. Should an officer of this congregation desire to resign, his
resignation shall be received by the Church Council and his replacement elected to fill
the unexpired term.
Section 2. Following the annual election of officers by the Church
Council, the outgoing secretary and treasurer shall serve until their replacement has
accepted and assumes office.
ARTICLE IV
Standing Committees
Section 1. All standing committees shall file a written quarterly
report to the Church Council. Special meetings may be called by the chairman or by the
Pastor, and shall be called upon the request of a majority of the members of the
committee.
Section 2. Vacancies occurring at interim shall be filled by the Church
Council.
Section 3. Should a member of any committee desire to resign, his
resignation shall be received by the Church Council and his place declared vacant.
